Currently, there are two active routes, one operated by Balearia and the other by Trasmediterránea; one arriving in Ciutadella and the other in Mahón.

There are two routes from Barcelona, covered by Balearia and Trasmediterránea.

Ferry from Valencia to Menorca

There is only one route from Valencia. The route from Valencia to Menorca is covered by Trasmediterránea and arrives at the port of Mahón.

Currently, there is only one crossing per week (usually departing on Saturdays) and it lasts 15 hours.

Other Boat Routes

There are no ferry routes from Menorca to Ibiza or Menorca to Formentera. To reach Ibiza or Formentera from Menorca by boat, you first have to stop in Mallorca.

The same applies to other cities like Gandía or Denia. There is no ferry from Gandía to Menorca or from Denia to Menorca. However, you can travel by boat to Ibiza, Formentera, and Palma de Mallorca from Gandía and Denia.

How to Take a Ferry to Menorca with a Car

All companies offer the possibility of embarking a car or motorcycle for a fee. Keep in mind that during the trip you cannot access the garage, so organize yourself to take everything you need.

Steps to Embark the Vehicle

First and foremost, before embarking your vehicle on the boat, make sure all your documentation is in order and the insurance is up to date.
